embolt Help & FAQ

Beginning with the Fall 2023 semester (8/28/23), we have transitioned to using a new streamlined membership portal and payment process called embolt.

What is different with embolt?

Other than the membership due payment and renewal, nothing! Members will still receive trip emails and the Member Trip Calendar on this website will still be where members can view the upcoming trip schedule. Trip emails will still contain the signup information for that trip.

How is the payment process different?

Instead of paying us directly through Paypal, new and renewing members will sign in and pay through embolt, which will still collect the payment through Paypal.

So how do I pay to become a member/renew my membership?

  1. Navigate to our embolt membership form or click the Become A member button above.

  2. Fill in the form with your name and email. The email you use here will be the email that is added to the Trip Email List and will receive email notifications about upcoming trips.

  3. You will be redirected to sign in to Paypal where the membership due will be collected.

  4. You will receive a confirmation email which contains details about how to access your member benefits such as the Member Trip Portal and trip calendar.
